Hello! My name is Cori Dantio, and I'm the Intervention Specialist for the McCord building. I'm new to the building this year, but am excitefor this new experience.

EDUCATION:

I grew up in the Cleveland area, but came to Toledo to go to school at Bowling Green State University (Go Falcons!) to earn my Bachelors as an Intervention Specialist. Right after I graduated in 2015, I decided to get my Masters in Reading as well. After 1 very intense year of school, I graduated again in 2016.

INTERESTS/ HOBBIES:

When I have time to pursue my hobbies and interests, I really enjoy reading and writing. I read everything I can get my hands on, and I like writing short stories in my spare time. I also enjoy watching Netflix and TV shows.

FUN FACTS:

1. I took three years of Sign Language in my undergrad. I hope to find a really fun use for it in the classroom. 

2. I LOVE dogs. I've grown up with them my entire life and can't wait to get my own puppy. 

3. I am a massive Harry Potter fan. I read the books when I was younger and they were the reason I have a love for reading now. 

4. I'm a Disney nerd. I grew up on the movies and am the reigning Disney Trivia Champ at my house. 

5. I play D & D (Dungeons and Dragons) when I have a friend who is willing to create a dungeon and run it. I'm hoping to be involved in a campaign soon.
